August 16 Fishing Report

The weather has begun to warm up after a week of cold temperatures. The colder weather sparked some crappie activity throughout Cutfoot Sioux. Good numbers of walleyes are also being found on Winnie’s major bar systems in 13-16 feet of water. Additionally, there are plenty of perch and pike across the lake, particularly on prominent shoreline structures along the north, west, and south shores.
