August 30th Fishing Report

Walleyes, perch, and pike are transitioning back to shoreline structures across Lake Winnibigoshish. Key areas to focus on include stretches along the east shore near Highbanks Resort, Richard’s Townsite Landing, and the west shore around Sugar Point, Ravens Point, and Mallard Point. Some days, fish are primarily found in the 8-10 ft range, while on other days, the 10-13 ft range holds more fish. Most anglers are using spinner rigs as the fish are on the move.
