January 11th Fishing Report

There are some ice cracks that you need to be aware of, but 9 to 11 inches of ice is pretty consistent throughout the main lake, and ATVs are being used. The main-lake bars, sunken islands, and shoreline breaks are producing walleyes during low-light periods in 18 to 25 feet. There have been some nice perch and pike mixed in – not big numbers, but some nice fish. In the Third River Flowage area, spearing for pike remains solid, and there are some nice bluegills being caught in shallow water.
